Principal Role

To be fully conversant with all stores systems and processes, aid the development of new procedures. Handle stock control. Ensure timely delivery of kits to the Production Specialists and Controllers. Goods In inspection of materials.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To be completely conversant with the processes and procedures in stores.
  • Work to agreed timescales and delivery targets for kits.
  • Assist in the clearance of Goods Inward daily.
  • Assist in the inspection of Goods Inward materials daily.
  • Be completely conversant with the Stock Control computer system (123 Insight).
  • Key Communication; - Stores Controller, Supply Chain, QC Automated Assembly Operations Controllers, Delivery Manager, General Manager.
  • Agree and perform stock checks as required to maintain the integrity of the stock held.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators as agreed with Line Manager.
  • Work to our customers Quality Manual and to the appropriate quality standards - FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO9001 & ISO13485 as appropriate.
  • Review on a daily basis progress against planned work with the Stores Controller.
  • Work effectively and efficiently at all times.
  • Highlight any process improvements necessary.
  • Process Waste Transfer Notes, Container Storage and Waste Control Area.
  • Ensure Pride in our Work Place is part of daily agenda.
  • To carry out all tasks in line with the customers Quality Manual and Work Instructions.
  • To follow all processes relating to Health and Safety standards.
  • To support and be an effective communicator of change inour customer's policies, processes and products, delivering the communication in an effective and timely manner to ensure that the team are fully informed and positively adapt to change.
  • SKILLS REQUIREMENT:

  • Be familiar with and understand 5S methods.
  • Counting accuracy.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Basic understanding of Electronic components.
  • Dexterity.
  • Review and understand and contribute to Stock Control Processes.
  • IT Literate.
  • To be familiar with and able to coach others in the use of MS Office, 123Insight and Sharepoint.
  • Effective communication.
  • Coaching and development of technicians you are working with.
  • Familiar with the appropriate ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • Be trained or have a Forklift Operation license.
  • Duties may change from time to time at the discretion of the Management.
