Primary Purpose Of The Role

To unload and reload our customers trunkers using physical and mechanical handling equipment. To place the client's products in the correct location within the warehouse so that it can then be picked accurately into the orders for the clients customers and achieve 100% order fill whenever possible and to notify any shortages. To look out for damaged or incorrect products before being picking. To load the rigids with the correct customers and products for that particular round. To report any shortages/damages to the line manager that will affect the client's customers. To adopt a "clean as you go policy" and to work within the Safe systems of work and the Safe work instructions. Also to report any defects with the equipment or warehouse and ensure all checks are carried out before/during and after shift.

General Responsibilities:

  • 1. Understand and comply with all relevant Company rules, agreements, policies, procedures and with all relevant legislative requirements and codes of practice.
  • 2. Ensure Company business is treated in the strictest confidence and not disclosed to persons outside the Company.
  • 3. Act in a professional manner, ensure good working relationships are maintained and promote a good image of the Company at all times
  • 4. Maintain and comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards, to be aware of the Occupational Health And Safety Management System, OHSAS18001 and to appreciate the responsibility you have to adhere to the respective procedures.
  • 5. Be aware that the Company operates a Quality Assurance system ISO 9001:2008 and adhere to the respective procedures.
  • 6. Ensure a good standard of housekeeping through observance of relevant Company policies and ensure that work areas are secure and locked when unoccupied.
  • 7. Where appropriate challenge and determine reasons for presence on site of any unauthorised person.
  • 8. Attend any development training as required in compliance with the Company's commitment to the Investors In People standard.
  • Hours Of Work

    Working hours 3pm - 03.00am 12 hour shifts no Saturday night working. 4 Shifts on with 2 / 3 days rest

    Pay

    £8.50 Per Hour
